The SDC125 twin-wheel trenching machine delivered this time is anewly upgraded product developed by SANY Heavy Industry specificallyfor high-end infrastructure projects. It achieves comprehensivebreakthroughs in performance, intelligence, and adaptability, and istailor-made for diaphragm wall construction under complex geologicalconditions. According to Tan Bo, Chairman of SANY's Middle East andNorth Africa Region, the equipment was developed with fullconsideration of the geological characteristics of Dubai, optimizingthe machine structure and operating system to easily handle thedemands of high-hardness rock formations and deep trenching. The twoSDC125 twin-wheel trenching machines delivered this time will bedeployed in the construction of two key subway stations: one at theInternational City interchange station (BB06), responsible fortrenching with a width of 0.8 meters and a depth of 35.2 meters,facing the challenge of a maximum rock hardness of 47 MPa; the otheris operating at the AL WARQA station (BR08), trenching with awidth of 1.5 meters and a depth of 38 meters, dealing with a rockhardness of approximately 30 MPa. Both machines demonstratedexcellent operational stability and efficiency.
Compared to traditional twin-wheel trenching machines, the SANYSDC125 has three core advantages. First, it is highly efficient andenergy-saving. Utilizing a newly optimized hydraulic system and powerconfiguration, its operating efficiency is increased by more than 15%compared to similar products, while energy consumption is reduced by10%, significantly lowering project construction costs. Second, it isintelligent and convenient. Equipped with SANY's independentlydeveloped intelligent control system, it can automatically adjusttrenching accuracy, perform real-time fault diagnosis, and remotelymonitor functions.
